Social responsibility and sustainability are essential pillars of the
Ibersol Group operation. We are aware of our role as a transforming
agent, and of the impact of our action. Therefore we have been
following a path, year after year, which confirms our business ethics
and our commitment towards the environment and the community.
In this context, our management is based on clear guidelines regar-
ding the sustainability principles, having inmind the fulfilment of the
vectors of sustainability.
The balance of forces between the economical, environmental and
social areas entails a long termvision of the business, and this is why
it is imperative to highlight the most important milestones of 2015,
which are strongly connected to these three domains, and enable
us to plan for the future.
As a reflexion of our ability to anticipatemarket trends and to adjust
ourselves to the economical and financial situation, in 2015 we’ve
put into place an ambitious expansion plan, transversal to all brands
and all geographies. We resumed the market expansion plan, with
the opening of 14 units in Portugal and 4 units in Angola.
Regarding the environmental performance, the activity was clearly
focused in a continuous monitoring and management towards a
conscious and sustainable performance. In this area, we continued to
change behaviours and to implementmeasures, namely technological
ones, to optimize andminimize asmuch as possible the consumption
