In 2012 packaging waste produced in the scope of Ibersol Group activity was 16.67% less than in 2011, for an effective
reduction of 155 tons of waste.
The year 2012 was yet another year marked by 100%
recycling and benefiting from the value of used cooking
oil; about 219 tons of waste was routed toward biodiesel
production.
To achieve these goals, we highlight two facts:
• 100% of the Group’s companies possess the Ponto
Verde Certificate, thereby helping develop the national
waste management system coordinated by the Socieda-
de Ponto Verde;
• 100% of units registered in the Verdoreca system,
which guarantees selective separation of resulting pa-
ckaging waste, helping to lower the volume of landfill-
-deposited waste.
