We continue to promote the daily selective separa-
tion of waste from packages (paper/cardboard, plas-
tic/metal and glass) both in the restaurant units and
in the offices of the Ibersol Group. We should also
point out that 100% of the units of the Ibersol Group
are enrolled in the Verdoreca system created by the
Sociedade Ponto Verde, which reinforces our role in
the national program of selective separation of waste.
In 2014, under the scope of Ibersol’s activity, a total of
564 tons of waste fromservice packages was produced.
Although this value represents globally a total increase
of 4%, compared to the activity of the previous year, it
comes from the fact that we privileged the use of paper/
paperboard packages instead of plastic ones, and also
from the growth of the activity of the Group.
Likewise, thewaste associatedwith packages of import-
ed raw materials increased by 5% (281 tons of waste),
as a result of changing the use of plastic packages to
paper or paperboard ones.

Used Food Oils
The production of food oil waste continues to be closely managed and monitored, ensuring to route, recycle
and enhance value 100% of waste produced. In 2014, approx. 245 tons of used food oil was routed towards
biodiesel production.
