example is the Open Kitchen program.
At Burger King, customers can ask to visit the kitchens
of any unit, at any time, without needing a prior reser-
vation. The brand holds that customers have the right
to know about their quality policies and to carefully and
safely find out how their meal is prepared.
KFC has also implemented the practice of kitchen visits
by customers, thereby assuming a transparent approa-
ch to making its products and complying with quality
and safety control mechanisms.
