Ibersol – Portuguese Federation of Food Banks Against Hunger
Partnership
If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. This is why we didn’t change the partner-
ship between the Ibersol Group and the Portuguese Federation of
Food Banks Against Hunger, in 2015, which aims to combine efforts
to fight hunger in mainland Portugal and the Autonomous Regions.
For the seventh consecutive year, we’ve put inmotion a funds raising
campaign under the theme ‘Thanks to Many we Make Smile those
Who Need the Most’. From September 25th until October 12th, the
customers were invited to donate 20 euro cents at Pizza Hut, Burger
King, Pans & Company, KFC, Pasta Caffé, and other units of the Group.
This initiativemanaged to raise, in only 18 days, a total of 55 thousand
Euros, representing an increase to the amount raised in 2014.
As a thank you note for their commitment, the teams responsible
for raising the largest amounts were acknowledged.
Social Responsibility is an increasingly important subject for the
customer and for Ibersol, which is committed in helping those who
need the most. We should also highlight the fact that, for six conse-
cutive years of campaigns, the Group was able to donate more than
560 thousand Euros.
