Environmental Performance
The Environmental Performance is an extremely important sustai-
nability vector for Ibersol. The Group recognizes the importance
of protecting the environment and of ensuring a sustainable de-
velopment of their businesses, and therefore all our activity aims
to minimize and compensate the environmental impacts, through
continuous monitoring and management.
The impact of the activity is measured and managed in order to im-
plementmeasures that protect the environment asmuch as possible.
From waste management to energy management, all employees
play a vital role in the mission of preserving the planet. As a result
of the implementation of the Group’s strategy in assuring a better
protection of the environment, the certification of the food service
operations management of the Group was renewed, in 2015, with
the standard NP EN SO 14001:2004 – Environmental Management
Systems. This is a certification that shows the commitment of the
Group in improving its environmental performance through the
monitoring of our activity, and contributing to the optimization of
the use of natural resources, the protection of the environment,
the reduction of pollution and, consequently, the decrease of our
ecological footprint.
In this regard, the Ibersol Group continues to work in the reduction
of the environmental impacts originated from:
- The production of packaging waste;
- The production of Used Food Oils;
- Energy consumption;
- CO2 Emissions;
- Water consumption.
