a) Education / Training
The Ibersol Group is responsible for the technological component
of the Technical Food Service Course at the António Nobre School
Grouping. In the context of this project, the course’s trainees receive
training at some of the Ibersol restaurants situated in Oporto. Such
cooperation is possible because Ibersol owns a training and develo-
pment structure able to support these youths by creating positive
expectations regarding a career plan, besides helping them joining
the working world.
In 2015, Ibersol’s pedagogical team provided 449 hours of training,
in the context of this course. The following brands were involved:
Burger King, KFC, Pans & Company, Pasta Caffé, and Pizza Hut. They
hosted the students overseeing their training and all necessary
monitoring, besides assessing their performance throughout the
sessions. The second year of the course started in October 2015,
with seven students enrolled.
