Restaurant Visits
As a market leading company, Ibersol welcomes the possibility of
playing an active role in training the citizens of the future. One of
such actions is the promotion of visits of children and young people
belonging to schools and social welfare associations to the kitchens
of the restaurants.
A total of 38 visits were hosted, enabling almost 900 children and
youngpeople, in2015, tohave theopportunity togobeyond thecounter
and get to know – in many cases with their own hands – all the pro-
cesses and procedures that are necessary to bringmeals to the table.
Social responsibility actions
Two dozens of students from the Faculty of Nutrition and Diet Scien-
ces at the University of Oporto (FCNAUP), four students from the
Oporto Hotel and Tourism School, and four students of the Food
Control Technical Course – CICCOPN had the possibility to live an
experience of food safety in the food service business, at KFC of the
Dolce Vita Porto. The students fromFCNAUP and fromtheHotel and
Tourism School also visited Pizza Hut located in the same shopping
centre. This action proved to be an interesting way to make contact
