importance as priorities of the Ibersol Group, and the
commitment of the whole company to this subject is

Management Systemof Occupational Safety andHealth
of the Ibersol Group, as well as the confirmation that
the service provided by Vog-Tecmaia, in the area of
food service, meets the requirements of the OHSAS

Keeping in mind the employees’ wellbeing and the
prevention of occupational accidents, we point out the
following, for 2014:
• 3,595 Occupational Health appointments, where
the employees’ fitness to perform their professional
activity is assessed.
• Over 700 audits performed to the Units, with the
purpose of checking the implementation and the con-
tinuous improvement of the Occupational Safety and
Health management system.
• Realization of the initiative ‘Venha Acompanhar Uma
Auditoria de Segurança Connosco’ (Come With Us and
Followa Safety Audit), aiming to improve the knowledge
of the Safety Anchors and of the Coordinators about
Occupational Safety and Health in their Units.
• Investigation of the occupational accidents,
establishment of their causes, setup of corrective
measures and sharing of best practices. Each Business
focused its attention to prevent occupational accidents,
after thinking about the accidents suffered: 319 in 2014.
• The training in this subject was kept in the integra-
tion of new employees plan, based on the leaflet on
Occupational Safety and Health. As soon as they start
working, the employees receive training and are en-
couraged to follow safe behaviours regarding the risks
of their workplace.
• Launch of the 2nd issue of the contest ‘Apanha a
Tarefa Segura’ (Catch the Safe Task), conceived to cel-
ebrate the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. In
2014, the employees were challenged to share best prac-
tices in safety to prevent and reduce the risk of certain
types of accident. The decrease of the accident rate, as
well as the improvement of themotivation levels of the
employees in preventing and adopting best practices of
Occupational Safety andHealth, are themost important
targets of this initiative.
• Survey to the Employees regarding Occupational
Safety and Health, with a global participation rate of
approx. 55%. The feedback and suggestions gathered
in this inquiry are extremely relevant to Ibersol, since it
constitutes an important basis towork to the Company.
Ibersol will keep on investing in the safety and health
of their employees, as we are convinced of the positive
impact it has on productivity, on the quality of the ser-
