The Porto de Futuro project aims to promote an im-
proved educational systembased onmanagement best
practices in the business environment. It arose following
a challenge launched by the Porto municipal govern-
ment, urging companies to support the development
of 17 school groups in the region.
Levels of Intervention
Actions Undertaken
Education/Training - Technical
Food Service Course
• Training, Follow up, Evaluation and Acknowledgement;
• School/company coordination to determine methodologies for development,
supervision, assessment and continual improvement;
• Participation in Class Council meetings;
• A lunch was served to congratulate the trainees that ended the course
in 2013/2014, concluding the year 12, and received their certification as
Restaurant-bar technicians.
Transversal projects involving
entrepreneurship and citizenship
• Junior Achievement: 2 Ibersol volunteers participated in 1 class with
the “Community” program and 1 class with the “Europe and I” program,
comprising a total of 40 students.
• Rugby in School Project: Financing of team’s t-shirts from the António Nobre
School Grouping and the trips for the competition rounds and the final party..
Management Consulting
• Participation in In2 Excellence Management Consulting Program.
