In the scope of a solidarity initiative of the Ibersol Group
inpartnershipwith the FederaçãoPortuguesados Banco
Alimentares, from November 21st until December 1st
a campaign ran to gather donations that was later on
converted into donations in food, which presented an
original name and campaign signature: ‘Graças amuitos’
(Thanks tomany) and ‘Bem-dispostos a ajudar’ (Helping
in a good mood).
In this solidarity event, which involved every employ-
ees of the Group, Ibersol gathered 42,103 euro from its
customers, and gave 45,000 euro to the Portuguese ���Fe-
deração Portuguesa dos Banco Alimentares that helped
21 Food Banks in the mainland and the isles.
Adding only 20 cents to their order, the customers of
the brands Burger King, Pans & Company, Pizza Hut,
Pasta Caffé, KFC (among other brands of the Group)
contributed to serve the dishes of Portugal with
food and smiles. To those that adhered to this initia-
tive, Ibersol responded with the joy and humour that
marked this campaign, by giving them a sticker with
one of the six smiling faces chosen to thank them.
This solidarity initiative fits the sustainability and social
responsibility policies of the Ibersol Group, which is
always attentive to its role towards the surrounding
community.
In appreciation to the Teams that stood out in the dona-
tion gathering, Ibersol performed an internal competi-
tion to promote the campaign and draw 3 gift cards in
each of the 3 units that achieved the largest number of
donations per transaction.
