Development of children’s menus
The Children’s Menus of the Viva Bem program brands
have been developed since 2008 in partnership with
the Ibersol Group’s nutritionists and chefs.
A noteworthy example in 2012 was the new Pizza Hut
children’s menu with nutritive and healthy aspects. It
was conceived with the needs and characteristics of
the youngest in mind.

Good Practices in the context of Product
Responsibility
Devotion to customers, food safety and quality, and
the Viva Bem principles are consolidated through the
application of good practices by the Group’s brands.
One example is the Open Kitchen program.
At Burger King, customers can ask to visit the kitchens
of any unit, at any time, without needing a prior
reservation. The brand holds that customers have
the right to know about their quality policies and
to carefully and safely find out how their meal is
prepared. KFC has also implemented the practice
of kitchen visits by customers, thereby assuming a
transparent approach to making its products and
complying with quality and safety control mechanisms.
Another example worth highlighting in 2012 is the
handout provided to KFC customers which contains
information about healthy eating and food safety
regarding this brand.
