OPORTO of the FUTURE
The Oporto of the Future project aims to promote an improved educational sys-
tem based on good management practices in the business environment. It aro-
se following a challenge launched by the Oporto municipal government, urging
companies to support the development of 17 school groups in the region.
In 2013, following the announcement of the new arrangement of school groups
in Greater Oporto, and the establishment of new partnerships, were revalidated
the protocols that give form to the commitments made between the companies,
the Oporto municipal government and the Directorate-General of the Educatio-
nal Establishments (DGEstE).

• School/company coordination to determine methodologies for
development, supervision, assessment and continual improvement;
• Participation in class council meetings;
• A lunch was served to reward the best performing
trainees – diplomas awarded.
Transversal projects

• Junior Achievement: 4 Ibersol volunteers participated in 1 class with the
“Family” program, 1 class with the “Community” program and 1 class
with the “Europe and I” program, comprising a total of 73 students.
• The Right Arm: 6 Ibersol Group volunteers involved in hosting 7 students
of Year 9 from school António Nobre;
• Rugby in School Project: Accompaniment and coordination of our team from
School EB 2, 3 Nicolau Nasoni during the 3 competition days; financing
of team t-shirts and trips for the 3 competition days and final party.
Management Consulting
• Participation in In2 Excellence Management Consulting Program.
