To endow its coordinators with skills and know-how ena-
bling them to successfully perform their duties, Ibersol
developed the Develop Coordinators programme in par-
tnership with the IPAM (Portuguese Institute for Admi-
nistration and Marketing).
This programme uses a tutorial model whereby current
business heads and senior coordinators teach trainees
methods and best practices by applying the routines and
coordination support tools used in the organization.
Trainees are thus given the chance to gradually practi-
ce, while monitored, the tasks they will have to perform
when carrying out their duties.
The third such program finished in 2012, with conclusion
of the on-the-job component, application of the certifi-
cation test and subjection to final evaluation, supported
by the IPAM.
