Food Donations
Ibersol continues to support the community by do-
nating food from products not consumed at catering
events for local institutions.
In November 2012 Silva Carvalho Catering signed a pro-
tocol agreement with ATL de Galiza of the Santa Casa de
Misericórdia charity institution in Cascais (IPSS), where-
by it would donate to that institution surplus food from
catering events at the Lisbon Congress Centre. At one
Christmas dinner served by Silva Carvalho Catering the
donated products helped feed 49 families – 114 adults
and 60 children. Ten volunteers were involved in this ac-
tion, distributing the meals a few hours after the event
was held.

Besides that partnership, the protocol agreements for
donating food surpluses signed with the Casa da Sopa
Mãe de Nazaré in the Lisbon Region, remained opera-
tional during the year, with the donation of approxima-
tely 2,500 kg of surplus food, and with the Associação
Coração da Cidade in the Porto Region, with the dona-
tion of about 3,500 kg of food not consumed at Dragão
Stadium events and catering events, thus providing aid
to needy families. Also noteworthy is that Solinca Cate-
ring donated about 800 kg of surplus food to the Obra
da Nossa Senhora das Candeias and the Associação
Coração da Cidade in Porto. The table below summari-
